Our hearts are like one void template that constantly seeks to be filled. Human beings resort to various circumstances to try fill the void. Many seek fulfilling relationships with the proverbial "happily ever after" ending. Many go great miles to vet friends they will confide in, a shoulder to lean all. Some keep to themselves, nursing there sorrows and sorting there sorts. Solace has been sort in various ways, by chain smoking, heavy drinking, and many forms of carefree life.
Suffice to say, all this are aimed at trying to fill the void. But as wise Solomon says " all this were vanity," it is in vain that we seek to fill the heart in such ways. Smoking has been known to cause cancer, drinking leads to disorderliness, carefree life may lead you to the regrets of your life, but there is one source of fulfillment that guarantees the much sort peace of mind. Let me introduce you to the prince of peace, JESUS CHRIST! HE says " Come to me all ye, that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Our voids can not be filled by radical earthly pleasures. Our voids can never be filled by human philosophies. Our voids can not be filled by carefree lifestyles. There is only one source of hope in this life. The Ancient of Days. Do you know why Jesus came? He came to set us free, so that we may be free in deed.
Who seeks solace in smoking? Smoking does fill your void! Who seeks solace in drinking? drinking only empties your wallet! Who seeks solace in the Messiah? You got the right pathway, seek on!
